Years after the Great War in Armored Trooper Votoms, MellowLink has decided to hunt down the general that tried to kill him and his squadron and take vengeance for his departed comrades. MellowLink has the unique talent of being an Armor Hunter — that is, without using mecha, he manages to take down enemy mecha by himself, with the aid of a giant mecha-killing gun and his trusty combat knife.

Humanity is exterminated by a genetic race they created to fight a deadly virus. One of the scientist brings his young daughter in a cryo-genic sleep, hoping that she will awaken one day and find surviving humans, so that she can bring peace between them and the genetic beings, the Enterrans. The girl, Yakumo received special powers at the impact of a meteorite, the impact after which the Enterrans went evil. When she awakens, 500 years later, she goes on her yourney and meets three Enterrans who join her. Togheter with them she slowly finds from the secrets of the past, what happened to her home planet in reality.

Shinzo did not stop after Yakumo's death. There is a third season made by a smaller Japanese organisation, not by Toei. This season was half aired in Japan, under a new name. It aired in its entirety in Germany and a few other countries. There are also unverified rumors of a fourth season.

Early in summer, the 13th year of Tempo, due to the Tempo Reforms proclaimed by Mizuno Tadakuni, people in Edo are prohibited from living extravagantly and luxuriously. Life sucks for Hibiki. Intergalactic society has broken into civil war between males and females; he's stuck on the assembly line for war mecha, relentlessly teased by his co-workers and unable to pursue his dreams of building his own mecha one day. Life for 17-year-old Makoto Konno is filled with fun days of school and hanging out with her
two best friends, Chiaki and Kousuke. And then she finds herself with a strange ability to
leap (or jump) back in time. A strange ability that at first saves her life, but then allows
her to not be late to school, to know the answers on any surprise exams and to avoid any
troublesome mishaps.

It is only when Makoto chooses to use this ability to avoid some of the more personal issues
that arise with her friends, do events become both complex and painfully difficult - the
simple gift that she once took for granted suddenly becomes a troublesome burden.
